Water Resources

In the water and hydroelectric sectors, the company services municipal agencies and private initiatives. A pioneer in the large-dam building cycle, the company developed and supervised construction of Brazil’s first arch dam. Beginning in 1975, Figueiredo Ferraz expanded activities into hydraulics and hydroelectricity by carrying out various inventory and viability studies on rivers in São Paulo and Minas Gerais states and by developing specific work methodology for small and medium-sized plants.

In the basic sanitation area, the company developed studies, master plans and water and sewage system projects for large cities and metropolises.
